Accessibility

Access should not be
the scary part.

Fright Guild is committed to making its website accessible and usable for as many visitors as possible. We want horror fans, filmmakers, partners, and Guild members to be able to explore the site, understand the projects, participate in Evaluations, and engage with the community without unnecessary barriers.

What we are working toward

As Fright Guild grows, we intend to keep improving the site in areas such as:

  • Clear page structure and readable content.
  • Keyboard-friendly navigation where possible.
  • Readable color contrast and legible typography.
  • Useful alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Forms and Evaluations that are easier to understand and complete.
  • Video, audio, and future media experiences that are easier to access.
  • Consistent navigation across desktop and mobile layouts.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site may not yet work perfectly for every visitor or every assistive technology. Fright Guild uses WordPress, plugins, embedded tools, third-party services, images, forms, Evaluations, and media, and some of those elements may require additional accessibility review or future improvement.

We do not want to claim the site is perfect. We do want to keep improving it.

Third-party content and services

Fright Guild may link to, embed, or integrate with third-party services such as email tools, forms, payment tools, video platforms, event platforms, streaming tools, social media, or partner websites. We cannot always control the accessibility of third-party services, but we will consider accessibility when choosing and improving the tools used on the site.

Need help accessing something?

If you have trouble using any part of the Fright Guild website, please contact us and let us know what happened. We will do our best to provide the information, content, or functionality in another reasonable way when possible.

Helpful details include the page URL, what you were trying to do, the problem you encountered, and the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using.

Accessibility feedback

Accessibility is not a one-time task. As Fright Guild adds projects, Evaluations, updates, events, Fearport, distribution information, media features, and future products, we expect to keep revisiting accessibility.

Feedback from visitors is welcome and helps us prioritize improvements.
