A suburban Halloween block party becomes a trap when every decorated house reveals a real monster.
Candy Lane is famous for Halloween.
Every year, the whole neighborhood transforms into a family-friendly maze of fog machines, plastic skeletons, glowing pumpkins, and front-yard monsters. Parents bring wagons. Kids bring pillowcases. Everyone knows the last house on the block is always the best.
This year, the decorations are not decorations.
A vampire waits in the colonial with the red porch light. A scarecrow climbs down from its pole. Something with too many teeth answers the door at the candy-cane house. As the street seals itself off, one group of kids has to survive house by house before the last porch light goes dark.
